In this video we show you how to wire a Nest Thermostat to your humidifier with the Nest Thermostat Humidifier wiring diagram. The Nest Thermostat is designed to operate humidifiers using the * terminal which can be used for humidification or dehumidification.
Unlike traditional humidifier wiring, the Nest thermostat only requires 1 wire to wire your Nest Thermostat to your humidifier for Nest control of your humidity.
Once connected the Nest Thermostat works to properly control humidity in your house with the use of the humidifier.
If you have the existing wires from your humidistat it takes 15-30 minutes to connect your Nest Thermostat to your humidifier and it can be completed with basic tools like a screwdriver.
