With both systems, you’ll have the option to sign up for 24/7 professional monitoring or you can monitor your system yourself through your app. On top of that, abode also gives you the option to get on-demand professional monitoring for affordable prices, which is a really nice touch. I also love that neither company makes you sign a long-term contract; if you want to end monitoring, you won’t have to pay any cancellation fees. On top of that, both #abode and #Scout have a ton of smart home integrations like Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Yale and Kwikset locks, Nest, LIFX, Philips Hue light bulbs, and more.
