In this video we teach you how to turn on Nest seasonal savings on your Nest thermostat.

Nest seasonal savings is a program that is designed to help you save energy by adjusting your scheduled temperature by (1-3) degrees for better energy savings. Currently your utility provider must participate in Nest seasonal savings for you to be eligible for the savings. You will receive a notification on your Nest and in the Nest app if you are edible to receive Nest Seasonal savings.

To Turn On Nest Seasonal Savings:
1. Your Nest must be setup and connected to the internet with an account setup and created in the Nest app.
2. Press on the bottom of your Nest thermostat to wake it up.
3. Press on the bottom of your Nest to open the menu options.
4. Rotate the Nest thermostat ring to select the gear icon and then press the bottom of the thermostat to select the gear icon which pulls up the settings adjustment menus.
5. Rotate the Nest thermostat ring to scroll through the settings on the thermostat until you reach “Energy Programs”. Press on the bottom of the Nest to select.
6. Read through the description of Nest seasonal savings and with “enable” highlighted press the bottom of the Nest to select Nest seasonal savings.
7. Congratulations you have now turned on Nest seasonal savings and you can go back to the Nest home screen or leave your nest alone which will then revert back to the home screen.
