In this video we explain Nest compatibility with 2 wire thermostat systems like heat only and boiler heating systems. The Nest E and Nest 3rd Generation smart thermostats are compatible with most 2 wire heat only or boiler systems without the addition of a common wire. Not all 2 wire HVAC systems will be compatible with the Nest E or Nest 3rd Generation but in my experience most systems will be.
